A medium-bodied wine with incredible texture & finesse of fruit. The bouquet is rich with black and red berry fruit as well as the delicious smoky and spicy notes so typical of Rhône-styled wines. Due to the fruit and the attractively low alcohol the wine has fantastic palate weight allied to drinkability. The lingering tannins show the class of the wine and are ripe and succulent. Drinking well now that’s certainly a wine that will repay careful cellaring. It will soften and gain in complexity for 4 to 5 years.
