South Africa’s favourite rock band turned winemakers when Hands on Wine teamed up with them to make their wine dreams come true.The Parlotones have always been passionate about wine, and the Hands on Wine team have always been huge Parlotones fans.  So when we heard about an online interview where Kahn mentioned that he dreams of someday having his own wine and wine farm we jumped at the chance.  The decision was literally made within minutes and The Parlotones wine was born. 

Over numerous lunches and truck loads of wine we got to know Kahn Morbee, Neil Pauw, Paul Hodgson and Glen Hodgson and we are now proud to call them our friends.  These guys are fun, friendly, never faint-hearted and always up for a challenge.
The Parlotones are known for their electric, polished stage performances, but let’s face it – they are no winemakers (yet).  This is where Hands on Wine stepped in to put together a winemaking team to assist the guys in blending their wines.  Have a look at our photo gallery to see the guys sniffing and swirling around wine samples – I wish you could hear the commentary!
