How do you film Eben Sadie? Actually, he’s a little bit like Chuck Norris…you don’t tell Eben how you’re going to film him, he tells you. We got up 4am in order to start filming at 6am. He talks so much, that by about 10am my hard drive was full, and my CPU about to overheat. This guy is a legend, and to sum up the one day of filming with Eben, one would need at least ten days of writing. You might have to wait a while for this film, as all that talking makes filming a dream, but editing a nightmare. A film not to be missed.
We asked Pieter Walser what he thought of his Hands on Wine Rock Star film:
Making a film about myself was at the same time both easy and really challenging, as there’s no limitations to what you can do. Xaver and myself decided to travel back in time in order to produce a movie that looks like it was filmed over a period of ten years. We used some old footage, but most of the filming was shot in one (long) day. Here are some picture of the day. To view the finished product, have a look on Pieter’s page.
